In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Powdersville Patriots baseball team scored a close 6-5 victory over the Wren Hurricanes.
The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their game against J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, J.L. Mann held off Easley (Easley, SC), 13-3, in a league game.
Next, the Hurricanes face the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 13. Wren will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Pendleton (Pendleton, SC).
