The Ropes Eagles baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Smyer Bobcats to 3 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Post for a 2A Region I District 4 test on Saturday, March 15. Ropes will clash with a Antelopes team coming off a 23-0 league loss to New Home (New Home, TX). The Antelopes record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, Smyer drops to 3-6 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Tahoka (Tahoka, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region I District 4 test on Saturday, March 15. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 3-3. Tahoka won 11-7 in their recent league test against Sundown (Sundown, TX)
