In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the La Quinta Aztecs.

The Vaqueros (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Anaheim (Anaheim, CA). The Colonists come into the Garden Grove challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Anaheim edged Fullerton (Fullerton, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Aztecs meet the Santa Ana Valley Falcons (Santa Ana, CA) in a Garden Grove challenge, on Thursday, March 13. La Quinta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA).
