Florida High School Flag Football - Mitchell holds off Anclote

The Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) flag football tipped the host Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), 12-7 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fivay for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. Mitchell will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 47-0 non-league loss to Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Anclote drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL) to clash with the Hurricanes in a 1A D6 outing on Wednesday, March 12. The Hurricanes come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic lost 7-0 in their recent league outing against Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate (Tampa, FL)
