In Tuesday's league test, the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) lacrosse team edged the host Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), by a count of 8-7.
Next up, the Lancers battle the Del Lago Academy Firebirds (Escondido, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 13. Hilltop will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Firebirds enter the test with a 2-0 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Vista (Vista, CA).
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Ramona (Ramona, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Ramona was tipped by Santana (Santee, CA), 16-4, in a non-league test.
