The Atkinson County Rebels soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Echols County Wildcats to 0 in the Rebels league victory on Tuesday.

The Rebels now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Turner County for a 1A D-II Region 2 bout on Friday, March 14. Atkinson County will play a Titans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Titans record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Echols County moves to 1-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Brooks County (Quitman, GA) to play the Trojans in a 1A D-II Region 2 test on Thursday, March 13. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 5-4. Brooks County lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Irwin County (Ocilla, GA)
