North Carolina High School Soccer - Cornerstone Charter nudges Leadership Academy

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Leadership Academy Falcons.

The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the Northwest Piedmont 1A outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Carver was edged by Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC), 9-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A outing, on Tuesday, March 18. Leadership Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 8-1 league loss to Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC).
