The Perry Panthers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Wayne County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to New Hampstead for a 4A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, March 18. Perry will play a Phoenix squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Wayne County moves to 3-6 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to Ware County (Waycross, GA) to play the Gators in a 4A Region 1 bout on Friday, March 14. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Ware County won 6-1 in their recent league bout against New Hampstead (Savannah, GA)
