Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX), 8-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Centennial moves its record to 16-0 on the campaign.

The Elks now sport a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joshua for a 5A Region 1 District 8 test on Friday, March 14. Burleson will clash with a Owls team coming off a 9-0 league win over Everman (Everman, TX). The Owls record now stands at 13-3.
