The Carson Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Robinson Bulldogs to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Stanly for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. Carson will clash with a Colts team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over North Stanly (New London, NC). The Colts record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Robinson drops to 0-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to clash with the Ragin' Bulls in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. The Ragin' Bulls go into the test with a record of 2-1. Hickory Ridge 5-5 in their recent non-league test against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)
