Texas High School Baseball - Franklin holds off Montwood

The Franklin Cougars baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Montwood Rams to 6 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Eastwood for a test on Friday, March 14. Franklin will play a Troopers team coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Troopers record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Montwood drops to 2-1 on the year. The Rams host Franklin (El Paso, TX) to play the Cougars in a test on Friday, April 11. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 3-5.
