The Virginia Academy Patriots lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions to 4 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity Christian for a Virginia Christian Athletic outing on Thursday, March 13. Virginia Academy will face a Gryphons squad coming off a 19-10 non-league win over Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Northern Virginia HomeSchool drops to 0-1 on the season. The Centurions travel to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to play the Ambassadors in a non-league game on Thursday, March 13. The Ambassadors come into the game with a record of 2-1. Norfolk Christian won 17-0 in their recent non-league game against Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA)
