Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Darlington Falcons (Darlington, SC) and the visiting Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC), saw Darlington's soccer squad knock off Lower Richland by a count of 2-0.

The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Sumter, SC). The Gators enter the AAAA Region 5 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Lakewood by Wilson (Florence, SC), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Diamond Hornets confront the Lewisville Lions (Richburg, SC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 13. Lower Richland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 1-1 non-league Camden Military (Camden, SC).
