Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Liberty Patriots (Lubbock, TX), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Pecos moves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Snyder (Snyder, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A Region 1 District 2 test on Saturday, March 15. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-13. Snyder lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX)

The Patriots now sport a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they host Estacado for a 4A Region 1 District 2 test on Friday, March 14. Liberty will clash with a Matadors team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 6-6.
