Texas High School Softball - Alamo Heights can't get by Pieper

The Pieper Warriors edged the visiting Alamo Heights Mules softball squad by a count of 9-8 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Friday, March 14. Pieper will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 15-0 league loss to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX).

The Mules (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns enter the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, New Braunfels edged Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX), 10-7, in a league challenge.
