Louisiana High School Softball - Ruston held off by Alexandria

The Alexandria Trojans got by the visiting Ruston Bearcats softball squad by a count of 15-14 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, March 13. Alexandria will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 13-1 league win over Neville (Monroe, LA).
The Bearcats (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels go into the 5A District 2 challenge with a 13-1 record. In their last challenge, Pineville held off West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 8-0, in a league challenge.
