The Bentonville West Wolverines softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Springdale Bulldogs to 1 in the Wolverines league win on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogers for a 6A West battle on Thursday, March 13. Bentonville West will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 12-3 league win over Northside (Fort Smith, AR). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Springdale moves to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a 6A West battle on Thursday, March 13. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 5-0. Fayetteville won 10-5 in their recent league battle against Rogers Heritage (Rogers, AR)
