In Tuesday's league match, the host Greer Yellow Jackets softball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Berea Bulldogs.
The Yellow Jackets (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC). The Devildogs go into the AAA Region 3 match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Travelers Rest tipped Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC), 4-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 match, on Thursday, March 13. Berea will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Blue Flame go into the match with a 5-0 record after their 4-3 league win over Blue Ridge (Greer, SC).
