The Marmaduke Greyhounds softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Blytheville Chickasaws to 11 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bay for a 2A Region 3 battle on Thursday, March 13. Marmaduke will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 25-7 league loss to Rector (Rector, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Blytheville moves to 0-1 on the season. The Chickasaws host Forrest City (Forrest City, AR) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
