The Buffalo Bison triumphed over the visiting Mexia Black Cats softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Bison meet the Fairfield Eagles (Fairfield, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 challenge, on Friday, March 14. Buffalo will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 18-0 league win over Mexia (Mexia, TX).

The Black Cats (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkhart (Elkhart, TX). The Elks enter the 3A Region III District 20 challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Elkhart overcame Westwood (Palestine, TX), 20-0, in a league challenge.
