The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) and the visiting Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX), observed Celeste's softball team notch a victory over Saltillo by a final score of 17-0.

The Blue Devils (9-7) will now prepare for their bout against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX). The Bears go into the 2A Region II District 16 bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Sulphur Bluff was routed by Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX), 17-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lions battle the North Hopkins Panthers (Sulphur Springs, TX) in a bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Saltillo will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 22-0 league win over Campbell (Campbell, TX).
