Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA), 4-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Central Catholic upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA) to play the Terriers in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12. The Terriers enter the game with a record of 10-1. Vandebilt Catholic won 17-0 in their recent league game against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA)
The Wildcats now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Berwick for a 3A District 8 game on Thursday, March 13. St. James will play a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Patterson (Patterson, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
