The Deer Park Deer overwhelmed the host Clear Brook Wolverines softball squad by a count of 24-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Deer meet the Clear Lake Falcons (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, March 14. Deer Park will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 13-3 league win over Dickinson (Dickinson, TX).
The Wolverines (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Clear Creek (League City, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region III District 24 challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Clear Creek was routed by Clear Falls (League City, TX), 14-7, in a league challenge.
