The Cleburne County Tigers softball squad (Heflin, AL), was routed 13-7 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Wellborn Panthers (Anniston, AL)

With the triumph, Wellborn improves its record to 5-10 on the year. The Panthers host Randolph County (Wedowee, AL) to face the Tigers in a 3A Area 9 test on Wednesday, March 12. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-4. Randolph County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL)

The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL). The Volunteers go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Central of Clay County was routed by Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL), 6-3, in a non-league test.
