In Tuesday's league match, the host Etowah Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Oneonta Redskins.

The Blue Devils (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Sardis (Boaz, AL). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Sardis was routed by Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
