Florida High School Softball - Lake Region sneaks past George Jenkins

The Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL) softball nipped the visiting George Jenkins Eagles (Lakeland, FL), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Thunder now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 13. Lake Region will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 11-0.

With the loss, George Jenkins moves to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Frostproof (Frostproof, FL) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, March 13. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 2-6. Frostproof lost 9-7 in their recent non-league outing against Moore Haven (Moore Haven, FL)
