The Hancock Hawks triumphed over the host St. Martin Yellow Jackets softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks meet the Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 12. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Commodores enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Biloxi (Biloxi, MS).
The Yellow Jackets (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gulfport (Gulfport, MS). The Admirals enter the 7A Region 4 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Gulfport overcame Stone (Wiggins, MS), 8-6, in a non-league challenge.
