The Spartans (7-12) will now prepare for their bout against Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Patriots go into the 6A Area 9 bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Homewood knocked off John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 15-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Bessemer City Tigers (Bessemer, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 13. Huffman will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, AL).
