The Karnes City Badgers softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Stockdale Brahmas to 4 in the Badgers league win on Tuesday.

The Badgers now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poth for a 3A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, March 18. Karnes City will confront a Pirates team coming off a 12-2 league win over Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Stockdale moves to 2-8 on the season. The Brahmas travel to Luling (Luling, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 8-8. Luling lost 4-1 in their recent non-league battle against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX)
