Alabama High School Softball - Valley bounces Russell County

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Valley Rams softball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Russell County Warriors.

The Rams (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Hornets come into the 5A Area 6 match with a 15-3 record. In their last match, Beauregard notched a victory over Beulah (Valley, AL), 9-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Rehobeth Rebels (Dothan, AL) in a 6A Area 3 match, on Wednesday, March 12. Russell County will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 5-4 league loss to Pike Road (Pike Road, AL).
