Texas High School Softball - Shepherd bounces Tarkington

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX) and the visiting Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX), observed Shepherd's softball team prevail over Tarkington by a tally of 20-5.

The Pirates (18-4) will now prepare for their bout against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Longhorns go into the 4A Region III District 19 bout with a 12-11 record. In their last bout, Hamshire-Fannett knocked off Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 12-3, in a league bout.
