The St. Amant Gators softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Walker Wildcats to 5 in the Gators league win on Tuesday.

The Gators now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Ascension for a 5A District 5 battle on Thursday, March 13. St. Amant will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 8-5 league win over Prairieville (Prairieville, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Walker moves to 9-4 on the season. The Wildcats host St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, March 14. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 10-3. St. Thomas More won 4-1 in their recent league battle against North Vermilion (Maurice, LA)
