The Pine Forest Trojans baseball squad (Fayetteville, NC), was overwhelmed 17-2 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC)

With the triumph, Pinecrest moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Patriots host Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to confront the Bucks in a Mid-South 7A/8A contest on Tuesday, March 17. The Bucks come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Hoke County lost 11-5 in their recent league contest against Richmond Senior (Rockingham, NC)

The Trojans now possess a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jack Britt for a Mid-South 7A/8A battle on Tuesday, March 17. Pine Forest will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-5.
