In Friday's league battle, the visiting Manvel Mavericks baseball squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Ball Tornadoes.
Coming up next, the Mavericks play the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots (Baytown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 battle, on Tuesday, March 16. Manvel will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 5-7 record after their 4-0 league win over Lee (Baytown, TX).
