In Saturday's non-league game, the host Argyle Eagles baseball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the China Spring Cougars.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Bulls go into the 4A Region I District 7 game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Bridgeport was overwhelmed by Paradise (Paradise, TX), 6-2, in a non-league game.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, Hudson tipped Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX), 13-0, in a non-league game.
