In Saturday's non-league game, the host Carlsbad Cavemen baseball team scored a nice 14-0 victory over the Piedra Vista Panthers.
The Cavemen (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Belen was overwhelmed by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 6-1, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Albuquerque Academy was overwhelmed by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 7-2, in a non-league game.
