Texas High School Baseball - Lamesa loses to Slaton

The Slaton Tigers crushed the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes baseball team by a count of 18-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they host Littlefield for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 15. Slaton will face a Wildcats team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over River Road (Amarillo, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.

Next, the Tornadoes face the Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 17. Lamesa will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to New Deal (New Deal, TX).
