Nevada High School Baseball - Virgin Valley defeats San Juan

Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT), 17-9 in a non-league test.

With the win, Virgin Valley upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV) to battle the Bulls in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 16. The Bulls come into the test with a record of 0-4. Sports Leadership & Management lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Needles (Needles, CA)

The Broncos now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Shiprock for a non-league contest on Friday, March 18. San Juan will play a Chieftains squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-2.
