In Saturday's non-league contest, the Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) volleyball squad edged the visiting Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 23. Kellis will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.

With the loss, Peoria drops to 5-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ) to battle the Skyhawks in a 4A West Valley contest on Tuesday, March 22. The Skyhawks come into the contest with a record of 4-3. Deer Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ)
