Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX), 8-7 in a league challenge.

The Highlanders now sport a 4-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canutillo for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Bel Air will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Ysleta falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Del Valle (El Paso, TX) to face the Conquistadores in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 15. The Conquistadores enter the challenge with a record of 7-11. Del Valle lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Hanks (El Paso, TX)
