The Chilton Pirates softball team (Chilton, TX), was routed 18-3 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Blum Bobcats (Blum, TX)
Coming up next, the Bobcats clash with the Rio Vista Eagles (Rio Vista, TX) in a 2A Region II District 12 test, on Tuesday, March 15. Blum will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 10-4 record after their 16-1 league win over Meridian (Meridian, TX).
The Pirates (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Abbott (Abbott, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Abbott was routed by Palmer (Palmer, TX), 9-4, in a non-league test.
