The Chisum Mustangs softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Edgewood Bulldogs to 7 in the Mustangs league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Chisum moves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Commerce (Commerce, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 12 game on Monday, March 14. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 1-7.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 game, on Tuesday, March 22. Edgewood will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
