Texas High School Softball - Coppell holds off Plano West

The crowd at Saturday's league match between the Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) and the host Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX), saw Coppell's softball squad nip Plano West by a count of 8-6.
The Cowboys now sport a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marcus for a 6A Region I District 6 match on Tuesday, March 15. Coppell will face a Marauders squad coming off a 7-5 league win over Plano (Plano, TX). The Marauders record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Plano West falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host Marcus (Flower Mound, TX) to face the Marauders in a 6A Region I District 6 match on Friday, March 18. The Marauders enter the match with a record of 13-4.
