In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Granbury Pirates baseball team scored a tight 9-6 victory over the Azle Hornets.
The Pirates (14-2) will now prepare for their game against Cleburne (Cleburne, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Cleburne tipped Seguin (Arlington, TX), 13-0, in a league game.
The Hornets (13-5) will now prepare for their game against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders go into the 5A Region I District 5 game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Saginaw by Northwest (Justin, TX), 6-0, in a league game.
