The Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK) baseball trounced the host Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK), 12-2 in Tuesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Greenwood Bulldogs (Greenwood, AR) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 14. Poteau will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record.
