The Hanson Memorial Tigers crushed the visiting Franklin Hornets baseball team by a count of 17-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Gueydan for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 16.
Next, the Hornets face the St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 14. Franklin will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 4-8 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA).
