The Sulphur Golden Tors baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets to 1 in the Golden Tors league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Tors (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Westlake (Westlake, LA). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Westlake gained a win over Delcambre (Delcambre, LA), 7-3, in a non-league match.
The Yellowjackets (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Carencro (Lafayette, LA). The Bears go into the 5A District 3 match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Carencro was overwhelmed by Barbe (Lake Charles, LA), 13-2, in a league match.
