The Vinton Lions got by the visiting Welsh Greyhounds baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Grand Lake for a 2A District 5 bout on Thursday, March 14. Vinton will face a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-4.
