The St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) volleyball tipped the visiting Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA), 3-2 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, St. Paul upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Swordsmen travel to St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA) to play the Vikings in a Santa Fe outing on Thursday, March 14. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 1-11. St. Bernard won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA)
The Stars now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Serra for a Santa Fe outing on Thursday, March 14. Mary Star of the Sea will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Verbum Dei Jesuit (Los Angeles, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-2.
