The Polytechnic Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Rio Hondo Prep Kares to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flintridge Prep for a Prep game on Wednesday, March 13. Polytechnic will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 league win over Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 6-1.
The Kares (11-8) will now prepare for their game against Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA). The Dons enter the non-league game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Sierra Vista gained a win over Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
